Airport Trip

At the beginning of October P2 went on a trip to Newtownards Airport. We had a great day meeting some of the staff who work at the airport. They showed us a fire truck and how water and foam can be sprayed to put out fires. We tried on some uniforms. We saw how fuel for the planes is checked. We went into one of the hangers and saw lots of different planes. Our favourite activity was getting to sit in the plane and learn how to take off, land and steer. What an exciting day!
