All Aboard The Waterbus!
P4/5A learned lots about the topic of water when the waterbus visited our school on the 23rd of February. We learned how water travels to our homes, how much water we use or waste in our homes and where the water goes when we flush the toilet or pull the plug out.
We looked at the water cycle and we learned that it only takes 24 hours to take rain and process it through our water treatment systems to come out of our taps.
We learned about the charity Water Aid who help people in Africa dig wells in villages.
We also learned that flushable wipes aren't flushable and get stuck in the drains, so we shouldn't use them!
We had a great time on board the waterbus and thankfully we didn't get wet!
