Application for Care for Children of Key Workers - Week 2
Click here to access application for Week 2 care
The application form for Week 2 (Monday 30th March - Friday 3rd April) is now online and can be accessed above. Applications will close on Sunday at 12pm.
All parents, even if you completed this form last week, should complete for Week 2 as this will allow me to prioritise support should demand exceed capacity.
We will continue to provide a service for as long as possible. Provision depends on Government and Departmental guidance, adequate staffing supervision levels and availability of cleaning staff and resources.
Next week we will potentially support children of key workers from other schools given lack of options available to them. Priority will be given to Castle Gardens children with remaining places allocated on a priority basis using the categories of key worker below starting with 1. Health and Social care workers and working down the list.
Despite repeated requests, there still have been no additional resources provided by the Education Authority or Department. Ultimate responsibility has been place on me as Principal and once I feel the school is unsafe or support is unsustainable we will close.
Parents who have requested supervision for their children will be contacted on the day prior. Should the current arrangements be required run into next week the application will be reopened later in the week.
Castle Gardens Primary School will open on Monday 30th March to provide care for children of key workers. Please take note of the following information and complete the data collection form below.
This information will be confidential and used only for purposes of allocating places and recording medical needs or food allergies. Any medications that we are required to administer should have a form completed via the school app even if previously submitted to the school.
