Armagh Planetarium
This week we enjoyed a visit to Armagh planetarium as we are now into our new topic of Space. We were very lucky to be going to the planetarium during science week as we had the exciting experience of participating in a horrible science workshop. We learned gruesome and silly facts about very famous astronomers before creating our own non-Newtonian substance (there was goo everywhere!) We enjoyed a trip to each of the planets with some friendly aliens, in the huge dome with wonderful rollercoaster effects before making our own rockets which we filled with water and launched into the air. The children had an amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed their trip.
