This month we are taking part in the Cash for Kids Schools Challenge, competing with other schools in NI for an additional £5000 to be awarded on top of what we raise. This was a fantastic event last year as we raised over £11,000 that we used to purchase playground equipment, remark the playgrounds and pay for counselling sessions.
Whilst we didn't finish in the top 3, what we raised in one month exceeded what we would normally raise in an entire year so you can understand why we jumped at the opportunity to get involved again this year.
Through October we will be running a series of events that you can see on the attached poster, we'll also be keen to run a couple of other events that will extend our reach beyond you, our school community. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Sponsorship forms for Fitness Freddie are being sent home today, this takes place next Thursday and was an incredibly popular day for everyone who took part.
