Castle Gardens Football Team Finish 2nd in the league!

The two final football games were played this afternoon. It all came down to the last game with Brooklands Primary. Brooklands scored two goals and went on to win the tournament. Castle Gardens was only beaten by one point! So our place in the league is 2nd! This is a great achievement for our school. In the last twelve years or so that I have taken the boys’ football, we have never made it as high as 2nd place. I am so proud of the boys’ effort and conduct at all their matches – what a great bunch! 2nd place folks – just fantastic!
