Christmas Events

Tuesday 3rd December - Flu vaccinations

Pupils will be offered the flu vaccinations on Tuesday 3rd. Paperwork should have been returned to the school. 

Wednesday 4th @ 9.30am - P1 Nativity.

Parents can wait in the canteen from 8.45am where Christmas decorations made by the children will be available to purchase. Refreshments and raffle tickets for a Christmas hamper will also be available to purchase. Parents will make their way down to the hall at 9.20am.

Wednesday 4th @11am - P2 Nativity.

Parents can wait in the canteen from 10.20am where Christmas decorations made by the children will be available to purchase. Parents of children in P1 and P2 will be able to wait in the canteen after the P1 Nativity, please let the office know if you wish to do this. Refreshments and raffle tickets for a Christmas hamper will also be available to purchase. Parents will make their way down to the hall at 10.50am.

Tuesday 10th December - Christmas Jumper Day & Christmas Party Buffet 

Pupils can wear their Christmas jumpers in to school on a non-uniform day on Tuesday 10th December. Suggested donation is £1 per child or £2 per family and can be paid in cash.

The ever popular Christmas buffet will be served that day in the canteen, keep an eye out for a note that will allow us to ensure can be catered for. The dinner will cost £2.60 as normal and is open to all children including those who don't normally take school dinners.

Thursday 12th December - School Closed, General Election

School will be used as a polling station for the General Election on Thursday 12th December. School's Out will be open that day but places are filling up fast.

Friday 13th December - P3 to P7 Christmas Service

Pupils in P3 to P7 classes will be taking part in our Christmas Service in school on Friday 13th December, start time 9.30am.

Parents can wait in the canteen from 8.45am where Christmas decorations made by the children will be available to purchase. Refreshments and raffle tickets for a Christmas hamper will also be available to purchase. Parents will head down to the hall at 9.20am.

Friday 20th December - PTA Bag Pack at Tesco Castlebawn

The PTA will be holding their annual bag pack in Tesco on Friday 20th December. This is the most productive event arranged by the PTA and all help is greatly appreciated. We can offer free child care in School's Out that afternoon for any parent wishing to assist for an hour, allowing you to help us out then complete a Christmas shop minus the children!

If you are interested in helping please return the note that will be sent home next week.

Friday 20th December - Last Day of Term

Pupils will finish for the Christmas holidays on Friday 20th December @ 12pm. Collection times will be staggered with P1 and P2 pupils available for collection @ 12pm with older children available @ 12.15pm.

There will be no school dinners available that day. Breakfast Club will run as normal but food will not be available.

Monday 6th January 2020 - School Restarts

School reopens on Monday 6th January. Breakfast club will run as normal from 8am. Clubs will not be running that week, a new block of clubs will restart the following week, week commencing Monday 13th January.
