This morning four girls and six boys took part in the first round of the NI Athletics cross country primary school competition.
At a very muddy Henry Jones playing fields in Castlereagh, the girls team of Alyssa, Rachel, Bethany and Brooke ran first. All four girls raced really well and made up several places on the closing stages.
The boys team also did really well with Ben and Stuart finishing close to the front of the field. Strong finishing sprints from Eddie, Ben, Zack and Haddyn meant all were pleased with their efforts.
Results will be posted later in the week.
Well done everybody who took part and a massive thanks to all the family members who can along to support and help with lifts.
