Ditch the Dark Day
As we approach shorter daylight hours, whether you walk, cycle, use public transport or drive be sure to adapt your outfit to improve your ability to be seen.
The same child is in both photos. The only difference is how they're dressed.
To raise awareness with our children we will be holding a non-uniform day on Friday 25th October. This is the last day of term and the day after the disco so bright, colourful hair which may be part of fancy dress costumes will get a chance to reappear.
Children are encouraged to dress up in bright coulourful clothes to help them be seen.
There will be a £1 charge per pupil or £2 charge per family which can be paid in cash or via schoolmoney.
Also, if you haven't got one in the car already, it's always handy to have a high-vis jacket/vest in the car.
