Dropping off and Collection Procedures for Next Week

Below you will find the arrangements for dropping off and collecting children next week.

Drop-off Arrangements

Class teachers will be opening doors at the earlier time of 8.30am each morning. Classes will not start until 9am.

Children arriving before 8.30am will not be supervised and must wait in their designated area of the playground until their teacher arrives to collect them.

On the first morning the class teachers make their way to the playground at 8.30am and will wait in the playground until approximately 8.50am. If all the class arrive before 8.50am they will make their way to class sooner.

Parents are asked to say goodbye to their child once they have been left with their teacher and to make their way out of the school grounds to ease congestion especially in the car park. We appreciate and expect there to be a number of children who will find this challenging. Please prepare your child your child for this routine and get in touch with your class teacher if you want to discuss your child can be supported.

If it is wet on the first morning, the class will come into the building sooner.

From their second morning, the class teacher will collect the class from the playground at 8.30am. Classes will not start until 9am so the arrival window is much larger than it was previously.

Staff will not be able to talk with parents at great length so please note

Arrangements will be reviewed on a daily basis. We will not get this new method absolutely perfect so please keep in touch via the website, Class Dojo, school app and Facebook.

Finishing Arrangements for Phase 2  (w/c Monday 31st August to Monday 28th September)

These are to be confirmed. Classes will finish around 2pm with the same pattern for collection to apply if successful in Phase 1.
