Egyptian Day in P5
13th Feb 2019
On Wednesday 13th February P5 had an Egyptian Day in class. Everyone (including Mr Adair and Mrs Ingram) dressed up. We started the day by looking at death masks and completed Egyptian puzzles. Then we wrapped our friends in toilet roll and had a ‘Mummy race’ in the large hall. After break we had a taste test and tried some Egyptian foods. The melon was popular but no one liked the dates. We also made our own papyrus paper. After lunch we looked at Egyptian patterns on the interactive whiteboard and then we used these to help us design our own 3D Pharaoh headdresses. We then had a debate on the Curse of the Mummy. It was a really fun day in P5!
