Good afternoon
We’ve a busy day ahead with interviews, football matches and the disco tonight.
Below you will find information that will make this evening run as smoothly as possible.
Parking
- Parents can park in the usual car park this evening or on the roads around school.
- Please park considerately, safely and legally especially on surrounding streets.
- The turning circle at the roundabout will be for drop off only, if you are wanting to walk your child to the door please park up in the car park or on neighbouring streets.
- 645pm to 7pm will be the busiest part of the evening. Please take extra care at this time.
- If possible please walk to and from the disco tonight to ease congestion.
Costumes
- Please save the scary outfits for next week as there will be lots of younger children attending.
Payment
- We are encouraging everyone to pay for their disco ticket via our Cash for Kids page.
- This means we don’t have to make a transfer across from Eduspot to our donation page tomorrow – cuts out the middle man!
- Entry can of course also be paid at the door.
Tuck Shop & Coffee
- We don’t have a tuck shop running this evening but will have a water table available for the children.
- There won’t be any tea or coffee available either, feel free to bring your own but it must be in a cup with a lockable lid. This means it doesn’t spill if a skeleton bumps into you or a vampire makes you jump!
P1 to P3 Disco – 6pm to 6.45pm
- P1-P3 pupils should arrive for 6pm and enter via the canteen.
- The disco will take place in the large hall but the small hall will be available for parents to stay. P1 parents encouraged to stay in case their child gets a bit overwhelmed by the music or just because it’s a bit later than they would normally be up.
- The P1 to P3 disco will finish at 645pm and the children will exit via reception.
- Parents should wait at Reception where P1-P3 staff will hand over the children to parents.
- Nobody will be allowed to exit the building on their own.
P4 to P7 Disco – 7pm to 8pm
- This will be the busiest part of the evening so please be patient and aware of a lot of excited children moving around the school site.
- Pupils will arrive through the canteen where they will wait until 7pm when the hall will be ready.
- Parents can wait in the small hall or the canteen.
- Children will be finished and ready for collection from the canteen at 8pm.
- Nobody exiting unless adult there to collect them.
