Last term Mr Graham and Mrs Wilson were tasked with updating our calculation policy, providing a relevant and workable document with resources to support the pupils, staff and parents.
Over on our school website parents of P5, P6 and P7 children will find videos that show how formal abstract calculations are taught at our school. Alongside these, a pdf document details approaches that are very useful for children who are not yet ready for the abstract calculations- pictorial and concrete.
