Open Events This Week

26th Nov 2018

This week we have several opportunities for parents to come and visit Castle Gardens to find out what we have to offer prospective parents of P1 and pre-school pupils.

We have three events at different times of the day which will mean you can select the time that suits you best and see the school in several different ways.

Open Night - Thursday 29th November @ 6.30pm

Our Open Night is a chance for you to come to school and see and hear all we have to offer you and your family. At 6.30pm you will be entertained by the musical talents of our children before our Principal Mr Gray speaks about what makes our school so special.

Mrs Harbinson, P1 teacher and Head of the Foundation Stage will also be speaking about what opportunities your son or daughter will have should they attend our school.

You will then have the opportunity to tour the school and speak to our staff as you visit our classrooms, all of which have interactive smartboards and are under the same roof.

You can also find out more about our after-school clubs that are on offer for all P1 to P7 pupils, our Breakfast Club that runs from 8am, School's Out NI who provide after-school care until 6pm.

Open Afternoon - Friday 30th November @ 1.30pm

Our Open Afternoon will let you come and see what our school is like on a typical day and to fully appreciate the full range of facilities we have at our disposal.

There is a lovely treasure hunt organised if you want to bring along your children which will take you on a tour around our school and allow you to see the amazing outdoor play facilities that we have on offer.

Open Morning - Saturday 1st December @ 10.30am

On Saturday morning our school will be open for you to come and have a look around without the pupils being present. This way you can explore the school, speak to key members of staff and see for yourself what we can offer you. We will also have the treasure hunt for younger children so feel free to come along and find out more.

Christmas Fair - Friday 7th December @ 6.30pm

We will be holding our annual Christmas Fair on the first Friday of December. With over 20 craft stalls, a chance to meet Santa and lots of fun activities on offer this is a fantastic way to see our school community in action.

Open Afternoon - Friday 18th January @ 1.30pm

A further Open Afternoon will be held in January with the same format as Friday.

Feel free to come along to any of these activities or to get in touch with Mr Gray should you want to find our more about our wonderful school.
