P5 Egyptian Day
12th Feb 2020
On Wednesday 12th February, P5 had an Egyptian Day in class. Everyone (including Mr Adair) dressed up. We started the day by looking at death masks and completed Egyptian puzzles. After break we wrapped our friends in toilet roll and had a ‘Mummy race’ in the large hall. Then we went to the ICT hub and visited Egypt using the green screen. After lunch we investigated the ancient Egyptian number system and created our own ‘Mehen’ board game. Next we had a taste test and tried some Egyptian foods. The pitta bread with honey was popular but no one liked the lentils or dates. Finally, we learnt some Egyptian dance moves. It was a really fun day in P5!
