P6 and P7 Residential Trip Refunds
Mrs McCluskie and I have been trying to resolve the issue of refunding residential trip money over the last couple of weeks.
If you've been reading the newsletters you will know that parents do not need to do anything to action this but also that it is not as straightforward to process as we would like. Eduspot require a card for our school fund account in order to process refunds at this time. This is something the Education Authority have encouraged schools not to have in the past so we are in the process of organising one.
I fully appreciate that circumstances for all families have changed significantly due to furloughing, job losses, being self-employed etc and are therefore hoping to refund asap, even if this means sending cheques through the post.
Given chequebooks are an outdated means of transaction with have a very small number available that we use should you require refund asap. We have a further chequebook on its way to us and is the quickest way we will be able to refund.
If you would appreciate the refund urgently, please email myself jgray246@c2ken.net and Mrs McCluskie jmccluskie051@c2ken.net so we can make arrangements.
Given the sensitivity of this we will be the only two people who, as signatories on a chequebook, will be aware who has requested refunds. We will not require anything further than a simple request for a refund to be emailed.
Once the new card has arrived we will work through further refunds asap.
