Primary 2 Mrs Saunderson and Miss Irvine’s classes had a fantastic Palaeontology Day. The children created mini dinosaur worlds and made the volcanoes erupt. They excavated fossils and bones from sand and ice. Fossil and footprints were moulded from dough and clay. Pupils participated in an art workshop, creating dinosaur skeletons with a variety of materials, including large-scale floor art. The day culminated in a dinosaur hunt outdoors! Well done to all our wonderful palaeontologists who came suitably equipped and worked tremendously hard! Thank you to all the parents who provided the spectacular costumes and helped make it so much fun!
