Our Summer Fair took place last night, with doors opening at 6pm to perfectly coincide with a torrential downpour! Fortunately the localised weather quickly blew itself out and a large crowd were able to have a superb evening of entertainment and chat.
This annual event has become a great attraction for current pupils, former pupils and families who have been through Castle Gardens who enjoy catching up as well as having a lot of fun.
Despite the weather, the VR glitches, attempts by the magician to set off the fire alarm, having to mop the bouncy castles (Mr Gregory coming a cropper in the process) among other challenges, this was a really enjoyable evening and also raised a healthy total for school funds.
Thank-you to everyone for supporting the event yesterday evening or in the run up to the event by donating toys, prizes and vouchers. Thank-you to all the staff for their efforts on the stalls, organising the activities and events in advance. Thank-you to all the stall holders who supported our Fair.
Already this morning I have been asked three times about next years Fair!!! So to answer those questions it will be held on the first Thursday in June each year so add Thursday 5th June 2025 @ 6pm to your diary.
