World Book Day was celebrated today in Castle Gardens, a day late due to Assembly Elections yesterday.
The children dressed up as characters from their favourite books and took part in lots of related activities. There were 5 winners who all received a £5 book token.
Foundation - Ellyce Robinson
KS1 - Max Hutchinson
KS2 - Joanna Hedley
There were winners in each of the provision classes and they were Damien McClean and Owen Leeburn.
All week we also ran an Extreme Reader competition that encouraged our pupils to read in unusal but safe places. The winner was Zoe McCullouch in P4.
