The P4 children in Mrs Hutchinson's class have begun learning about WW2. We have discussed how the second world war began and have listened to Neville Chamberlain announce the start of the war to the British people over the wireless. We have enjoyed listening to an air raid siren and have been discussing Adolf Hitler's rule in Germany. We are now learning all about life as an evacuee during wartime and look forward to our visit to Castle Ward next week.
