There have been a number of local schools badly affected over the last few days by sickness which has resulted in school closures for several days.
Whilst we are having our normal share of sickness for the time of year, so far we are experiencing nothing out of the ordinary. Mr Gregory and the cleaning staff are taking all the usual precautions and our teaching staff have been reminding their classes about how important it is to wash their hands to limit the spread of germs.
With this in mind though, can I ask that any pupils who are sick are kept off to allow any bout to pass, you can see for how long on the enclosed photo that has been circulated by the Public Health Agency.
